The photography business is becoming more and more cutthroat every day, but the most important thing you can ever do for your brand and business is keep value for you clients. Understand the value you are presenting and ultimately selling. Anyone can take a photograph, but the key is to be able to sell something unique. That might be the management of the images, or the simple steps for your client to download. Whatever it is you have to make sure the person who is buying is getting a unique experience they couldn't get any where else. Working in the Virginia and North Carolina markets is interesting and different. A lot of times in smaller markets you have to educate your client in order to prove the worthiness of your product. Bring them into your work and let them understand that the product you are selling is going to generate income for them. It's going to make their business stronger and better and ultimately there is value in that.
